Spanning nine days, and with 150 activities lined up, and 11 international guests, the annual Costa Rica international Book Fair kicked off on Saturday.

Organised by the Costa Rican Book Chamber (CCL), the fair is a public-facing event.

Not much information about right now beyond the press release – if anyone sees any more meaningful data, do let me know.

Meanwhile this from CCL President Alexandra Meléndez:

“We are very excited to receive thousands of people throughout these nine days of the fair. We have many activities for the whole family. This year we have the visit of 11 international guests and dozens of national artists, who will have book signings, forums and talks. We also have recreational activities aimed at children, and many other activities.”

Euro.ESEuro has details of the international guests.
