Big Bad Wolf Taiwan has a million or more books, mainly English as usual, but also with a smorgasbord of Chinese-language content thanks to a partnership with Taiwan’s publishers.

Big Bad Wolf, having just wound up its Manila event in July, but will be back in the Philippines in September for an event to run in Cebu September 15 through October 1, again with 2 million mostly English-language books up for grabs.

The news comes as Big Bad Wolf Taipei gets underway in Taiwan (August 17-27), with a million or more books, mainly English as usual, but also with a smorgasbord of Chinese-language content thanks to a partnership with Taiwan’s publishers, who understandably do not want to miss out on the huge footfall these Big Bad Wolf events command.

Wu Zhenghong, chairman of the National Federation of Publishing Associations of the Republic of China, and Zhao Zhengmin, chairman of the Taipei Publishing Association and chairman of Times Publishing, were among the dignitaries at the 2023 launch event.
