In a major boost to India’s growing comics industry, the Indian Comics Association (ICA) has named Ruhi Singh, former Miss India and acclaimed film actress, as its brand ambassador. The announcement was made during a panel discussion on the government’s ‘Create in India’ initiative, held at the Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) office in Mumbai.

Singh, who will represent ICA at the upcoming Waves 2025, has expressed her dedication to revitalising the Indian comics scene. The collaboration aims to expand the reach of Indian comics by leveraging Singh’s public influence.
