Thailand’s first book fair of the year is underway in Bangkok, and don’t you just love the promo poster?

Obviously this is not going to set any book fair records for sales or footfall, but with such a delightful promo poster, I could not leave it unreported.

Organised by Naiin Bookstore, the event is open 10AM to 9PM and runs January 24 through February 2, with the theme “Reading recreation around a campfire”.

Not that there will be any real campfires in evidence – the fair takes place on the fifth-floor hall of the Samyan Mitrtown shopping mall (on Rama IV Road in Pathum Wan district, if you are lucky enough to live nearby).

Not much detail, sorry, and obviously this is not going to set any book fair records for sales or footfall, but with such a delightful promo poster, I could not leave it unreported.
