Mills & Boon sells a romance fiction book in the UK every ten seconds, but has yet to get noticed by the BookTok romance reader brigade.

That’s according to The Guardian, which tells us the imprint will “launch a new list of titles specifically aimed at TikTok users and readers aged 35 and under.”

Afterglow will publish two titles a month starting January 2024. Katie Barnes-Wallis, marketing director at Mills & Boon, explains that the imprint will be a “trend-led, trope-filled list of books with authentic and relatable characters (and a) generous dose of spice in every story.”
