South Africa – Comic-Con Cape Town debuts April 27

Comic-Con Cape Town is a debut event, and it remains to be see if Cape Town can attract fewer, as many, or more visitors than Jo’burg.

Comic-Con Africa has been running out of Johannesburg since 2018, with three events under its belt and a fourth scheduled for September. The last incarnation in 2019 pulled in 71,000 visitors.

But Comic-Con Cape Town is a debut event, and it remains to be see if Cape Town can attract fewer, as many, or more visitors than Jo’burg.

The Jo’burg event will run September 22-25 this year.
