Manga Plus Creators by Shueisha is what the new self-publishing platform is called, and the target is the English and Spanish-speaking markets.
Shueisha’s Manga Plus app is available worldwide except on China, Korea and Japan. But the Manga Plus Creators platform will allow creators to publish both on Manga Plus and on Japan’s Jump+ platform.
The deal means artists will be encouraged to use the MediBang Manga! JUMP drawing app and MediBang Paint, the illustration and manga creation software used in over 150 countries and with over 75 million downloads under its belt.
