No images for this one yet – the Big Bad Wolf site has yet to be updated with the details – but next month the world’s biggest book sale debuts in South Korea.
The Korea Times tells us Big Bad Wolf will kick off its 24/7 eleven day book buying bonanza on July 5 through 15 at the KINTEX convention center in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
The Big Bad Wolf sale comes just weeks after the Seoul International Book Fair wound up. No data on Seoul attendance this year, but typically it attracts a crowd of about 300,000. It will be interesting to see how many turn out for the Big Bad Wolf sale where the books are all in English.
The Korea debut will overlap with Big Bad Wolf’s latest incursion into Indonesia, which starts on June 28.
For further coverage of that event, and what else Big Bad Wolf has been up to this year, this post will help:
South Korea will be Big Bad Wolf’s tenth market, joining Pakistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and home country Malaysia.
