AI Is Not Going To Go Away
None of this detracts from the fact there are serious issues still to resolve around AI companies casual attitudes towards IP, permission, remuneration, etc, and at some point there will be a shake-down in the AI sector as law courts finally take sides.
But shutting our eyes and hoping AI will go away is not an option. The courts may eventually land some AI companies with hefty fines if – and it is by no means certain right now – some AI companies have overstepped the mark. But AI will still be here, stronger and more advanced than ever, the day after.
