Just weeks before Avengers: Endgame hits the big screen, and with the Oscars success of Black Panther and Into the Spider-Verse fresh in the public mind, Rakuten’s digital library distributor OverDrive has added Marvel Comics to its Marketplace, meaning any of the available titles can be made available to any partner library and can be read on the Libby app.
As always, OverDrive hasn’t just dumped these comics in Marketplace but has some great categories – Marvel Classics, the Stan Lee Tribute, Villain Centered Titles and Marvel Women Who Kick Butt.
It’s not clear what, if any, territorial restrictions will be applied to these Marvel titles, but we can be sure it will further boost OverDrive’s quarter billion plus annual digital downloads.
